Purpose of the role

You will be the point of contact for our customers enquiring about their booked holiday via phone, email leads and web-chats. Our customer queries will require you to administrate and quality check bookings such as sending invoices, tickets plus make amendments and adding holiday extras where you can earn commission. You will aim to resolve all customer queries on initial contact whilst striving to deliver our award-winning concierge service.

 

 

​The Role​ 

  • Selling luxury cruise holidays over the phone and online chat across all of our Six Star cruise lines including tailor making to fit the customer’s specific requirements i.e. adding flights, transfers, hotels, and land tours, if required. 
  • Building rapport with new and repeat customers, listening to their needs and helping them find the best cruise holiday for them.​
  •  Giving exceptional personalised customer service as standard from first enquiry to after booking and beyond – encouraging repeat customers, and building your own customer database​ 
  • Taking responsibility for your customers, answering queries, and helping them at any stage of the booking process.​ 
  • Achieving sales, conversion, and productivity targets​ 
  • Using your personal travel and cruise knowledge and experience to show that you are a cruise expert to gain repeat customers.​ 

What you need

  • Experience working in cruise sales, cruise or travel industry, luxury tour operator, hotel, resort is preferred (but not essential)
  • You will have strong experience in a customer service background
  • Experience cruising, working on cruise lines, abroad, or have travel or holiday experience (having some first-hand travel/destination knowledge is preferred)
  • You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced working environment and can learn to use systems and keep good administration on customers and bookings
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confidence and personality to build rapport quickly
  • Passion and enthusiasm for cruising and travel

Purpose of the role

Passionate about selling cruise holidays? We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and target driven with the ability to multi-task who are keen to progress and grow with us.

You will be selling our customers their dream cruise whilst ‘delivering a remarkable experience.’

Our Sales Concierge undertake a 3-week training induction programme with a further 3 weeks in our ‘grad bay’. You will have reduced sales targets for the first few months whilst you settle in. We will also provide you with on-going training, coaching and support.

What you will be doing

  • Selling cruise holidays over the phone and online chat across all cruise lines including tailor making to fit the customer’s specific requirements i.e. adding flights, transfers, hotels, and land tours, if required.
  • Converting incoming calls and online chats into bookings to meet your personal and team targets.
  • Following up leads, acting on customer buying signals and maximising sales leads.
  • Delivering on agreed customer and sales targets (KPI’s)
  • Following company processes to ensure all bookings are completed accurately.
  • Offering remarkable customers service by building rapport, understanding the needs of each customer, and using personal experience to encourage customer loyalty and retention.
  • Taking the workload off our customers shoulders and letting them focus on enjoying the cruise!

What you need

  • Passionate about selling cruises!
  • Previous cruise sales experience gained in a retail or cruise travel agent or tour operator preferred
  • Experience using cruise line systems preferred
  • Previous homeworking experience
  • Proven experience of hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience cruising, working on cruise lines or previous travel experience - first-hand travel/destination knowledge is beneficial
  • You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to take ownership of your own personal development to build on product knowledge e.g. understanding the current marketing campaigns to maximise customer sales opportunities
  • Dedicated to providing customers with the absolute best in one-to-one personal service

  • Salary: £23,871 basic plus lucrative uncapped bonus scheme (realistic OTE £40,000 - £50,000 p.a.)
