Where can I cruise to from Sydney?

Australia is such a big place that it's easy to fill a cruise itinerary without leaving the county! Popular Australian ports of call include the cities of Cairns, Melbourne and Darwin. But Australia isn't all about the city life, far from it! Ports such as Airlie Beach and Willis Island are ideal stops for exploring paradise islands, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef and trying your hand at watersports.

Neighbouring New Zealand is a popular stop on cruises out of Sydney. Here you can experience the sweeping vistas made famous by the Lord of the Rings movies, marvelling at the mountains, lakes and glaciers. You'll find plenty of museums, shops and restaurants in cities such as Auckland and Wellington.

The Pacific Islands are accessible with cruises out of Sydney. You can experience the most laid-back tropical paradises in the world as you visit the Fiji Islands, Vanuatu's curiously-named Mystery Island and the French Polynesian resorts of Bora Bora and Tahiti.

Longer voyages will take you from Sydney to Hong Kong or Singapore. Calling at ports across China, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam along the way, these itineraries are a cultural delight. If you're after something really special, how about a half world cruise, travelling from Sydney back to Southampton either via Cape Town and around Africa, or via Dubai and through the Suez Canal.
